MATLAB: I downloaded using the download agent, why am I missing the installer.exe needed to install MATLAB on Windows

MATLAB

I have downloaded MathWorks products using the Java agent, but cannot start the installer as there is no installer executable in the download folder. Only the product .zip files are present.

During the automatic download, an antivirus or security application may prevent the installer.exe from being downloaded. Only the executable file is blocked as the product .zip files are downloaded. We have seen this issue with Norton Antivirus, but other vendor's software can also cause this issue.
To resolve this issue, disable the antivirus program during download, or perform a manual download of the installer.exe file and allow to download.
In order to initate a manual download, cancel out of the Download Agent when it launches, and click the link for 'Manual Download' within the text on the right side of the screen:
If you experience problems using the Download Agent, try Manual Download
This will bring you to a screen with instructions on how to use the files you're looking to download from our side, as well as a download button for each, including the installer which is the first file in the list.
