In order to install MATLAB from an ISO file the ISO file must be extracted or mounted. If you attempt to run the MATLAB installer from directly within the ISO utility application, you will see an error of this type.
To resolve the issue, mount or extract the ISO file and run the MATLAB installer from the mounted ISO or the extracted installer folder.

This error is indicating the installer is corrupt. This can happen after unzipping the installer. Usually this is caused by antivirus or other security software. Please disable the anti-virus temporarily while unzipping the installer or preferably before you download the installer from the MathWorks website. Then unzip and run the installer again.
