I would like to use the MATLAB Function Wizard Add-In for Microsoft Excel. However, after I select it from the Excel Tools menu, I receive multiple popup error messages. Each message says:

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
There is a bug in MATLAB Builder for Excel 1.2 (R14) in the MATLAB Function Wizard Add-In for Microsoft Excel. To work around this issue, download a revised version of the Add-In. Here are the required steps:
1. Quit MATLAB
2. Rename the following file:
$MATLAB\toolbox\matlabxl\matlabxl\mlfunction.xla
(where $MATLAB is the MATLAB root directory on your machine, as returned by typing
matlabroot
at the MATLAB command prompt.)
Rename the file to mlfunction.xla.old
3. Download the attached file:
For MATLAB 7.0 (R14): mlfunction.xla.7.0
For MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1): mlfunction.xla.7.0.1
For MATLAB 7.0.4 (R14SP2): mlfunction.xla.7.0.2
Place the new file in $MATLAB\toolbox\matlabxl\matlabxl
5. Rename the downloaded file to "mlfunction.xla"
4. Restart MATLAB
5. After restarting MATLAB, issue the following command at the MATLAB prompt:
rehash toolboxcache
