MATLAB: Does Spreadsheet Link EX 3.0.1 (R2008a) fail to work

When upgrading from Excel Link v3.0 (R2007b) to Spreadsheet Link EX v3.0.1 (R2008a), Spreadsheet/Excel Link breaks.

To fix this issue, please perform the following steps:
1) Close all running MATLAB and Excel sessions
2) Open Excel
3) Click on Tools -> Add-Ins and uncheck 'Excel Link 3.0 for use with MATLAB'. Click Ok and restart Excel.
4) Once the Excel is running, click on Tools -> Add-Ins and browse to the following location and select 'excllink.xla':
%matlabroot%\toolbox\exlink
where %matlabroot% is the directory where MATLAB is installed.
5) Click Ok and you should be able to use SpreadSheet Link EX successfully now.
