MATLAB: How is Mathlab/Simlink delivered to the User? Can the S/W be moved to another PC

eulamoving software

Currently I have an Intel P4 Processor PC. After buying/installing Mathlab/Simulink, I'll probably be getting an Intel i5 processor PC. Can I (how can I) move the (now) Licensed S/W to my new PC? Also please direct me to the URL that has the Mathworks EULA.

On your new PC you just click the link on mathworks.com and download the latest release to your new computer. You download a small bootstrap program. When you run that, it downloads the full software onto whatever computer you're using, then installs it and asks you to login so that it can authenticate you and then activate the software. That's how it works for single-user, commercial/industrial licenses like I have. It may work differently for pooled licenses or student versions - I don't know. So you can simply download and install it onto any computer. If you've done it too many times, then you may need to get access to the "old" computers to "deactivate" the copies of the software that you installed on those prior/old computers. You can only have 3 or 4 activated versions at any given time.
