The network license manager is included in the installer downloaded from the site, and you will not need to create an offline installation package. You can bring the installer, File Installation Key, and license file to the server computer and use the steps below to install the license manager.
  • Start the MATLAB installer.
  • Select "Use a File Installation Key"
  • Accept the terms of the MATLAB Software License Agreement.
  • Enter your File Installation Key.
  • Confirm the installation path
  • Select the "License Manager" from the list of products to install.
  • When prompted for a license file, browse to the "license.lic" file that you downloaded from the MathWorks License Center.
  • To start the license manager to start at boot time, select "Configure the license manager as a service" (Windows only.)
  • Click "Install."
