MATLAB: Does the Installer hang at 97% when installing MATLAB Builder products

I am trying to install MATLAB and all my products, but at 97% the installation hangs. Why is this happening?

This error can occur during the registration of "mwcomutil.dll" for the MATLAB Builder for Java, MATLAB Builder for .NET, and MATLAB Builder for Excel files. To resolve this issue, you can is to install each product you are licensed for, omitting the Builder products. Once complete, run a 2nd installation for the Builder products separately. This should allow you to install of your products.
