MATLAB: Do I get the error BAD KEY VALUE, no ‘-‘ prefix: “-inputFile” find: installer_XXXXX: No such file or directory when installing R2020a on macOS non-interactively or silently

When trying to install R2020a non-interactively with the macOS DMG from the MathWorks website, I get the following errors in Terminal:

BAD KEY VALUE, no '-' prefix: "-inputFile"

find: installer_XXXXX: No such file or directory

find: installer_XXXXX/archives: No such file or directory

find: installer_XXXXX/archives: No such file or directory

It is not possible to install non-interactively with the DMG from the MathWorks website at this time. The workaround is to obtain an offline package using the Download Only workflow through the internet installer. Please see the following link for instructions:
