MATLAB: Cross Correlations among 56 audio files using for loop

cross correlations for loop

Hi, I have 56 audio files in .wav format and now i want to compute cross correlations among them. I know the general principle of cross correlation among two files.

Actually i want to create a for loop such it takes every time one wave file and compute cross correlation with rest of 55 audio files one by one.

can anybody help me in this regard that how i can write a code snippet for this.??

Folder   = tempdir;  % Adjust to your needs
FileList = dir(fullfile(Folder, '*.wav'));
nFile    = numel(FileList);
for i1 = 1:nFile
  file1 = fullfile(Folder, FileList(i1).name);
  for i2 = i1+1:nFile
    file2 = fullfile(Folder, FileList(i2).name);
    ... Now compare file1 and file2
  end
end

First just load all of the files, and put the required data into a cell array:

Folder   = 'C:...'
FileList = dir(fullfile(Folder, '*.mat'));
nFile    = numel(FileList);
cFile    = cell(1,nFile);
for k = 1:nFile
    F = fullfile(Folder, FileList(k).name);
    S = load(F);
    cFile{k} = S.averages;
end

and then do your cross correlation on the contents of the cell array cFile.

You need a cell matrix to store the strings of different lengths:

FileList = dir(fullfile(Folder, '*.*'));
nFile    = numel(FileList);
Output   = cell(nFile, 2);
for iFile = 1:nFile
  File             = fullfile(Folder, FileList(iFile).name);
  Info             = iminfo(File);
  Output{iFile, 1} = File;
  Output{iFile, 2} = Info.ColorType;
end
