If I close the internal PDF viewer on the right panel in TeXstudio, after a rebuild I can't see the generated PDF document anymore. Before it has been working without any sort of problem. I tried to click on the top menu View and select the PDF view option but nothing happened.

For the recent version (4.1.1) of Texmaker, the solution provided in How do I open a pdf file in the TexMaker internal PDF viewer using a user-defined quick build sequence? should still work and open the internal PDF viewer instead of the external one.
In TeXstudio (current version: 2.7.0), however, the implementation has changed: Now the internal PDF viewer is opened by specifying txs:///view-pdf-internal1 in the user-defined Quick Build command. So the correct call would be
pdflatex -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex|bibtex %.aux|pdflatex -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex|pdflatex -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex|pdflatex -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex|txs:///view-pdf-internal
in your case.

I suspect something went wrong with the configuration of the builder settings. I had a similar problem which required me to reconfigure that part of the installation process. When I clicked Build nothing happened, but after fixing this it works.

Insert /usr/texbin where it asks for the "Bin directory of TeX distribution". This will access the files at /usr/local/texlive/2011/bin if you've got the 2011 version of MacTeX installed.
