[TeXstudio 2.10.4, Win7]
I would like to be able to run a custom CLI command (batch, script, or executable) after the document build process has completed. Since the build process is a chain of commands, I think I should be able to do this, but am confused by the tags used (like txs://compile) that are in the Configure TeXstudio -> Build screen.
Anyone able to suggest how to do this?

Just had to change C:\Development\LatexWorkspace to C:\\Development\\LatexWorkspace.
First ensure that xindy works with your distribution.
Even though an entry exists for Make Glossaries in the build window (see figure below), it doesn't appear under the Commands of Tools menu:
There is no short cut available too. If somebody knows how to make use of this please feel free to edit the answer.
Alternative
You can define a user command:
Go To Options → Configure TeXstudio. In the window that opens do the following:
Choose
Buildand click.Click
Addunder User CommandsFill :
user1: Make Glossariesand"C:/Program Files/MiKTeX 2.9/miktex/bin/makeglossaries.exe" %. You can browse to the exe file also. Note that the path may be different for you. Don't forget the%at the end.Press
OKand come out
Now you will have a user menu for Make Glossaries with a short cut:
Now you can pdflatex Make Glossaries and pdflatex.

As noted by Speravir, you have to specify "texindy.bat" %.idx instead of texindy.exe %.idx as in the following window.

The tags
txs:///...references commands. You can check the tag of a command in it's tooltip (see attached image). Just create a user command for your CLI command and add it to the compile command.For further details see Section 1.3.1 Advanced configuration of the build system in the user manual.
