Is there any way that I can use the command \pause in KOMA-script presentation?
The \coverand \uncover commands seem to unfunctional as well.

Let me cite from the 2010 article by Hofert and Kohm (Scientific Presentations with LaTeX):
Creating presentation slides with KOMAscript’s article class is meant to be easy copy-pasting of existing material, maybe already published in a journal.
Hence, the above linked template (which is quite a bit old by now) or any future release, will not support overlays. If you really want those, you need to set them up yourself. It will be much easier though, to use
beamerinstead.Hint: Do not overuse features like overlays, or even use fancy transitions between the slides, since it is distracting the audience of your presentation. A scientific presentation should be as objective and cool as your research. The contents of your presentation will keep the audience awake ;-)
