[Tex/LaTex] dvi file is not created in texmaker

I use texmaker but when I compile the source file normally I get the pdf as result and I did not know that I should received also DVI file but now i need the dvi file for a conference but i cannot get it. what is the problem? is there any command there?

You have to run latex instead of pdflatex. Change it near the first blue arrow (below the Help menu) or use the Tools menu, as shown in figure below. Also, as noted by @Torbjørn T., you can use the keyboard shortcuts.

I take it you mean that after dvips the PostScript file looks okay. In that case, you are seeing the expected behaviour. When working in DVI mode, PostScript specials are used for effects that TeX does not support directly. This includes absolute positioning, rotation, scaling and so on. However, DVI viewers do not interpret these specials (unless they do some PostScript breaking out), and so show only the unmodified results. So you will not see these effects until you convert to PostScript.

To convert PDF to EPS, you can use pdftops as follows:

 pdftops -f 1 -l 1 -eps "input.pdf"  "output.eps"
