Recently (2 days ago) I downloaded TeXstudio along with all packages I need. Today I also worked out how to make polish characters work (like ą, ę, ł), but whenever I press AltGr and S (which should result with ś on polish keyboard) TeXstudio opens save file window, so I am unable to input that character properly. I can't see any AltGr+S shortcut in settings either.

By default Ctrl + Alt + U opens the tool to insert a unicode character. This keyboard shortcut can be switched off by going to
Options -> Configure TeXstudio... -> Shortcuts -> Menus -> Edit
in the English user interface. In the Spanish interface it is
Opciones -> Configure TeXstudio... -> Atajos -> Menús -> Editar.
Just delete/change the shortcut for Insert Unicode Character... in the column that says Current Shortcut or Atajo actual respectively. Hope this solves the problem.
I solved the problem following the discussions provided at this link. The Additional Search Paths -> Commands ($PATH) is under Advanced options.

For some keyboard layouts AltGr works like Ctrl+Alt. See

Save As. You can deactivate it inOptions -> Shortcuts.
