[Tex/LaTex] About beamer-latex themes

I have a question about beamer-latex. I have just downloaded the beamer-latex from this cite: http://faculty.csuci.edu/jorge.garcia/tex/beamer.htm.

I did all the requirements. But some of the things do not work:

when I write a small code (without frametitles or subsection…), it gives a pdf file but gives theme error, it doesn't understand the theme if it it Warsaw or any others.
For long codes , the program doesn't give any pdf view and gives a lot of errors: theme error, frametitle error…

Could you please help me, if anyone understands?

That download is really old: beamer class Version 3.06 of 2005-06-16, working with pgf 1.0. There can be many errors if you use it together with newer packages.

It's very recommendable to install a newer one, either with the package manager of your TeX distribution or download it from CTAN. The most recent version is 3.12, working with pgf 2.10.

With MiKTeX, use the MiKTeX package manager aka mpm for installing, in the manager look for the beamer package.
With TeX Live (Windows, Linux, Unix), use the TeX Live Manager aka tlmgr, with the GUI or tlmgr install beamer on the command prompt.
With a derived Linux TeX distribution, look out for a beamer package of the Linux repositories, with the Linux package manager (Synaptic, rpm, YAST, ...)

Don't download it just from somewhere. If you really would like to download for manual installation, get the beamer package from the most reliable TeX archive: CTAN.

You can use \hspace{0pt plus 1 filll} instead of \hfill:

\frametitle{This is the frame title \hspace{0pt plus 1 filll}  \beamergotobutton{right}}

The environment beamercolorboxhas predefined left and right margins which are defined with the skip 0pt plus 1fill. If you are using \hfill the word is centered for the right part. To show the behaviour you can use the following mwe:

You should NOT put custom or personal additions under /usr/local/texlive/2013/ as that directory should be reserved for the TeX distribution. Changes you make there can easily be overwritten when you update the installation and will certainly be lost if you switch to, say, TeX Live 2014.

The reason it doesn't work when you add the theme there is because TeX relies on a database of hashed names to find things in that directory. You would have to also update that database in order for the theme to be found.

You have two options.

Your personal texmf tree. TeX does not use a hashed database to search this directory - it just looks at what is there at the time of compilation.
/usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/ [note that this is NOT under a directory named for a year]. TeX does use a hashed database for this directory. So if you use this one, you need to update that database in order for the theme to be found.

The first option is easier since all you need do is put the file in the correct place - no need to worry about updating any database.

Try placing the theme in <your home directory>/Library/texmf/tex/latex/beamer/themes/ to mirror the directory structure you found in your main texmf tree. Note that you should NOT use /Library. You want to use <your home>/Library/.

If you did want to use the local texmf tree rather than your personal one - perhaps because other users of the machine should have access to the same theme - you could use /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/tex/latex/beamer/themes/. To update the database of names, you would then need to run mktexlsr /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local. (You could just run mktexlsr but it is a little quicker to specify the appropriate texmf tree.)
