MATLAB: Does the trial expiration message still appear after I activated the full license

MATLAB

After having used a trial license for a period of time, I have now activated a full license. However, when I start MATLAB I still see a window which displays the time remaining before my trial expires. Why is MATLAB not reading my full license?

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2009a (R2009a). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
MATLAB will continue to use a trial license until it expires, regardless of whether an activated license exists. After trial expiration, MATLAB will roll over to an activated license with no user intervention required.
Until trial expiration, a window will open along with MATLAB to display the remaining trial duration. During this time, the 'ver' command will list the license number as DEMO.
As a workaround, delete the trial license file demo.lic, or rename the file to trial.lic. The trial license can be found at the following location, where $MATLAB is the MATLAB installation directory:
R2008a and Newer
=========
Windows: $MATLAB\licenses\license.lic
Unix/linux/Mac: $MATLAB/licenses/license.lic
Pre-R2008a
=======
Windows: $MATLAB\bin\win32\license.lic
Mac/Linux/Unix: $MATLAB/etc/license.lic
