The supported CCS version for Target for TI C2000 2.3 (2007b) and Target Support Package TC2 3.0 (R2008a) is Code Composer Studio 3.3. However, R2008a includes support for new chips, like 2833x. It is required to install the latest updates of CCS 3.3 which is Service Release 8 (as of April 2008), in order to take advantage of the support for the new chip.
Older chips (280x and 281x) will work fine with the original CCS installation on both R2007b and R2008a.
The following software is required for Target Support PackageTC2 3.0 (2008a). The versions listed below have been tested and are fully supported:
• Service Release 6 (3.3.57) for Code Composer Studio (for all targets except C2833x)
• Service Release 8 (3.3.77) for Code Composer Studio (for all targets including C2833x)
