MATLAB: Visual Basic and Matlab

hi,

I'm doing a GUI with Visual Basic 6. It does this through the shell

Call Ejecutar_shell("C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2010b\bin\matlab -r")

Someone can help me because I want to call a matlab GUIDE done in some file or *. mdl

If you have the MATLAB GUIDE application done, it should have some files for it, such as MyGui.fig, MyGui.m, make sure they are in your MATLAB path.

Do the following will automatically run MyGui after MATLAB starts.

Call Ejecutar_shell("C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2010b\bin\matlab -r MyGui")

windows.h is an include file that is only for MS Windows systems. It should not have been trying to compile it.

Grab the gco-v3.0.zip from http://vision.csd.uwo.ca/code/ . Let OS-X unzip it for you (double-click it if need be.) Then in MATLAB, use pathtool to add the gco/matlab folder so created to the MATLAB path.

Once that is done, give the command

GCO_UnitTest

and that will do the compiling for you.

Afterwards, test with

h = GCO_Create(4,3)

MATLAB: GUI from Simulink File

Your GUI consists of two files: mygui.fig and mygui.m If you call the function mygui.m from simulink, your GUI will pop up. Look for user defined function block and make a call to your mygui.m. Take into account that if you do not set the right means for it, your gui will be called every sample time, which means many times. Watch out for that.
