MATLAB: Use data in text files and use that data in Matlab

Hello good day.

I hope you can help me.

I have a text file called 'Gain' that has 8 columns of data, each column has a header and 181 numeric data.

I just want the numeric data (181) from the third column of the text file and

use them in a Matlab file as matrix 181 X 1

How I do this?

I would be infinitely grateful for your help.

Try

data = importdata(filename);
column3 = data.data(:,3);

Write back if you have problems, and attach your file.
