Double-clicking in the plot-window opens 'Property Editor': Is there a way to turn this shortcut off?

If you had edited the plot by clicking on the arrow icon in the figure toolbar or calling plotedit on, double-clicking on the axes or the plot in the axes would open the Property Editor. To avoid this, turn off plot editing by clicking on the arrow again (it should not appear selected) or use plotedit off.
