MATLAB: Password to install package in ros_melodic_dashing_gazebov9.vmx

Hi,

I followed here to install VM and Ubuntu on the VM. The Ubuntu image ros_melodic_dashing_gazebov9.vmx is already shipped with the tutorial here.

When I try to install some package in the Ubuntu, it requires the password.

Could you please let me know the password?

You can find the relevant Gazebo files for the "Office" environment in the virtual machine you downloaded.

The main world file (turtlebot3_mw_office.world) is located in the /opt/ros/melodic/share/turtlebot3_gazebo/worlds folder.

You can copy the whole turtlebot3_gazebo package to a new ROS Melodic installation and launch the world from there:

sudo apt install ros-melodic-turtlebot3-gazebo

Copy the /opt/ros/melodic/share/turtlebot3_gazebo from the virtual machine to your other ROS installation in /opt/ros/melodic/share
Try starting Gazebo with the new world

export TURTLEBOT3_MODEL=waffle_pi
source /opt/ros/melodic/setup.bash
roslaunch turtlebot3_gazebo turtlebot3_mw_office.launch

You need to define the sum_dft as

sum_dft = s1_dft+s2_dft+s3_dft;

instead and then plot and compare using abs(sum_dft). Otherwise you are not doing a fair comparison as you throwing away all the phase information.
