We have verified that there is a bug in the Partial Differential Equation Toolbox 1.0.5 (R14) and later versions that affects the way the Delete key is handled in PDETOOL in Japanese Windows.

If the mesh of the geometry is somewhat affected by the "closeness" of two points in the polygon chain, try removing one of the points.
