The downloaded installer .dmg may be corrupt or incomplete. It is recommended to try running the installation again using a newly downloaded installer. You can download a new copy of the installer using the following link:
If the issue continues even after using the new installer, please follow the instructions listed below:
- From the Finder in Mac OS X, hit Command + Shift + G and enter the following path:\n
/System/Library/CoreServices/
- Locate the app named “Installer.app” from this directory and launch it.
- Once launched and completed, navigate back to the location where your failing installer .dmg is located and launch it again.
The installer should proceed normally at this point.
