MATLAB: Is MATLAB fully compatible with Virtual Dimension virtual desktop manager

MATLABopenopen sourcesource

MATLAB 7.1 (R14SP3) on a Windows 2000 machine running Virtual Dimension crashes due to a 'Fatal Java Exception' when selecting 'Cancel' from certain windows such as the 'Preferences' window. Disabling Virtual Dimension corrects the issue, as does starting MATLAB with the -nojvm flag. Increasing the java heap space to 512 MB does not correct the issue.

MATLAB is not qualified against Virtual Dimension and using MATLAB in this configuration can result in unexpected behavior. There are no workarounds.
