MATLAB: I cannot retrieve data from a uitable with app designer

I create a uitable within a figure and the user have to insert data but the table is not editable.

My code is:

f = figure;

table = uitable('Parent', f);

set(table, 'Data', cell(10));

my data= get(table, 'Data');

It's a logical [1 x n] array describing whether each of your n-columns are editable (true) or not (false).

You need to find the uitable somehow, and then get() its Data property.

There are multiple ways of doing that. One would be to write to handles.h1 instead of h1, and then to do

guidata(hObject, handles);

so that the handle of the table got written into the handles data structure.

Another way would be to give the uitable a Tag property, and later findobj() based on the Tag.

R2020b Documentation for 'uitable' specifies that logical arrays will be displayed as checkboxes.
