MATLAB: How to plot a 3D medical NIFTI image

Hi all.

I need to plot a 3D medical NIFTI image but i can't figure out how to do it. I already used the Tools for NIfTI and ANALYZE image toolbox, but it only shows my data according 3 different axis (using load_nii to obtain informations and using view_nii to show them). What i really wanted was a 3D volume of (in this case) the brain.

You could use the slice command. There are also many 3D viewers to choose from on the File Exchange,

There are methods using e.g.

doc surf
doc slice

that you can look at multi-dimensional data with, but it depends what you mean by visualise the entire 3d picture. Clearly in any such visualisation parts of it would be hidden from view unless you wish to project it onto 2d.
