MATLAB: How to monitor/track usage for users going through the Shibboleth workflow

Universities are looking to track the usage of the Portal. They would like to know how many users and who is using their Login Credentials on the MATLAB Portal.

MathWorks does not provide tools to track usage of the Portal. Universities can make use of the License Center Reports in order to see who has currently activated.
If Universities want to check on their end who is using the Portal, they can use the License Center reports in conjunction with the idp-audit.log described by this article:

With the retrieved data from the logs they can cross-reference them with the License Center Reports to check the license usage.
