MATLAB: How to get row index satisfy the condition in cell array

Hi,

I have celle array, and want to find row index where the cell value is equal to 1.

data:

'Group1' 'PVT' 'Power' '01-06-2019' [0]

'Group1' 'PVT' 'Power' '01-06-2019' [1]

'Group1' 'PVR' 'VFT' '01-06-2019' [1]

'Group1' 'PMR' 'VGA' '01-06-2019' [1]

I want to get row where the value is equal to 1 in last column. I tried below code but does not work.

Method1:

IndexC = strfind(cell2mat(data{:,end}),'1');

method2:

idx2=strfind(data(:,end),'1');

Both does not worlk.

The last column doesn't seem to be a char:

data(cell2mat(data(:,end))==1,:)

You're pretty close in your attempt; it's tricky with the cell indexing and without using strcmp. How about trying this

% array of all strings used as grouping classes
groupLabels = {'fs','pre','sv','to'};
% anonymous function for id'ing rows 
f = @(s)data(strcmp(s,data(:,3)),:);
% get the groups
groups = cellfun(f,groupLabels,'UniformOutput',false);

c = {'Group'     'Sub_group'  'Name'   'Date'             'Value';
     'Group1'    'S1Gp11'     'HATU'   'R2016-06-01_00'    '1'
     'Group1'    'S1Gp11'     'HATU'   'R2016-06-01_01'    '1'}; 
colIdx = strcmpi(c(1,:),'Date');  % column number of "Date" column
cClean = c; %copy the array if you want to keep the original
cClean(:,colIdx) = regexprep(cClean(:,colIdx),'_.*','');

Result

cClean =
  3×5 cell array
    {'Group' }    {'Sub_group'}    {'Name'}    {'Date'       }    {'Value'}
    {'Group1'}    {'S1Gp11'   }    {'HATU'}    {'R2016-06-01'}    {'1'    }
