I am considering to transition to NI-DAQmx driver. Is there anything I need to be aware of when installing both NI-DAQmx and Traditional NI-DAQ drivers for Data Acquisition Toolbox 2.14 (R2009a)?

When installing both NI-DAQmx and Traditional NI-DAQ drivers for Data Acquisition Toolbox 2.14 (R2009a) it is necessary to install the Traditional NI-DAQ driver first followed by NI-DAQmx.

The nidaq32.dll is the NI-DAQ Traditional driver used by many of National Instruments' older hardware devices. Newer NI hardware uses the NI-DAQmx driver.

The support package installation can fail for a number of reasons, including:

The download failed
The NI-DAQmx seup program installation failed because the folder location is a network folder or because of user account permissions.
