MATLAB: How to download and install a MATLAB Update manually

I want to download and install a specific MATLAB Update for a specific release. How can I do this?

To download and install a MATLAB Update manually, please follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/web_downloads/select_release.
  2. Click the release you wish to apply an update to.
  3. On this page, in Related Links, click "Get Update Package for Offline Installation". This page will have the most recent update.
  4. If you want previous updates, in Related Links, click "All R20XXx Update Packages for Offline Installation".
  5. Follow these instructions to install the update offline. Please note that this procedure can be performed only if you have administrator rights: https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/update-mathworks-software-on-offline-machine.html
