MATLAB: How to delete all the scopes in Simulink

Hi, in a Simulink model, I have used "Create and connect viewer" to see the signal in a specific point. I attach a snapshot to show how it looks like.

Now, after I while that I simulate and program, Simulink tells me that it has 7 scopes, but I actually see only one! I have no idea where the other 6 are…Is there a way to see where are the scopes, or just to delete all the scopes from the command window?

Hi Maria,

Please select Diagram > Signals & Ports > Signal & Scope Manager. You will be able to see (and delete) all the scopes attached to the model, even the "invisible ones".

This may be a bug in MATLAB R2015a. Try using a Scope viewer instead of a Scope block to visualize your signal.

Consider the model 'testMdl.mdl'. There is a viewer named "MyViewer" in the top layer of the model and there is another viewer named 'ViewerInSubsystem' inside the subsystem. I can open and close these viewers from MATLAB command line using the following code:

>> mdl = 'testMdl';
>> open_system(mdl);
>> set_param( [mdl '/MyViewer'],'open','on');
>> set_param( [mdl '/ViewerInSubsystem'],'open','on');
>> set_param( [mdl '/MyViewer'],'open','off');
>> set_param( [mdl '/ViewerInSubsystem'],'open','off');

However deep the signal viewer is in the model, they can always be accessed programmatically by specifying the model name and the signal viewer name. It is not necessary to point to the location where the viewer exists in the model.
