MATLAB: How to copy matlab figure into ms word

I am preparing my thesis report. I have typed the report in ms word, I need to put the results I have obtained by plotting graphs in matlab figure window, into my ms word thesis report. Please tell me how to copy these matlab figures. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Take a look at the vast number of options at Exporting graphs page and choose the one that suits your need. The simplest approach would be to do File -> SaveAs.

Export the graphics using print to EPS creates pixel images, when the OpenGL renderer is active. So try to enable 'Painters' manually bevor printing:

set(FigureH, 'Renderer', 'painters');

Even then the pixel preview of the vector file is displayed in Word, but only on the monitor. When exported to a PDF the vector graphics are embedded.

Here are some tips. Rename the generic variable names I created.

Instead of the wordlength loop, s = repmat(' _ ', 1, wordlength); fprintf('%s\n',s); That's 1 underscore per letter.
Instead of if guess ~= word(i), use idx = strfind(word, guess); if ~isempty(idx)
To insert a correctly guessed letter, dashidx = strfind(s, '_'), s(dashidx(idx)) = guess;
You'll also need to add something that stops the game when the correct word was chosen.
