MATLAB: How to convert an array to mat file

Hello everyone. I need your help to find solution to my problem. My problem is that, I have an array containing decimal data. I want to convert this array to mat (.mat) file in matlab so that I can load it in another matlab program. How can i achieve this. I request you to help me in solving this. Thanks in advance.

You can save your data as .mat files using the save or saveas command. E.g. If your array has the name 'MyArray' you can save it to the current folder with

save('MyArray.mat','MyArray')

You have to load data from .mat into matlab and then convert it into .tif.

Let data be your matrix and xmin, xmax , ymin, ymax be minimum and maximum longitudes and latitudes respectively. You can convert this data into .tif file using:

% Write the data into geotiff 
R = georasterref('RasterSize',size(data),'LatitudeLimits',[ymin,ymax],'LongitudeLimits',[xmin,xmax]);
geotiffwrite('myfile.tif',data,R)
%%Read geotiff file
[A, R] = geotiffread(tiffile);
