This error is currently under investigation by our developers. If possible, please retry running the installer through Windows Safe Mode.
To run Windows in Safe Mode, repeatedly hit the F8 key as your computer is starting up. It will display the Windows Advanced Options Menu. Go to "Safe Mode with Networking" and hit Enter. Windows will then boot in Safe Mode.
Then retry running the MATLAB installer from your download directory or DVD media.
