If I go to Demos -> Toolboxes -> Signal Processing -> Spectral Analysis and Statistical Signal Processing -> Getting started with Spectral Analysis Objects -> Spectral Estimation methods, 4th paragraph starting with “Alternatively you can invoke the psdotps …”

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2007b (R2007b). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

This is a typographical error within the documentation for Spectral Analysis demo 'Getting started with Spectral Analysis Objects' in Signal Processing Toolbox 6.6 (R2006b). The documentation should read as follows:

"Alternatively you can invoke the psdopts...."
