Does MATLAB Parallel Server allow unlimited worker usage with R2018b and below?

To use the new model allowing unlimited workers, customers must update the Network License Manager and license file to R2019a or use online licensing with an existing license of 200 or more workers.
A MATLAB Home license cannot be used with an Amazon EC2 cluster. You must have an academic or a professional MATLAB license with Parallel Computing Toolbox in order to submit to a EC2 cluster.
NOTE: Starting in R2019a the following name changes occurred:
MATLAB Distributed Computing Server was renamed to MATLAB Parallel Server
