MATLAB: Do I receive an error that the Activation Key is invalid or in use

When activating my Campus-Wide License using an Activation Key I was provided, I receive an error that the key is invalid or in use:

In order to associate or activate with a Campus-Wide License, you must be using your University provided email address. Anything other than the University email domain will not allow you to access the license.

If you are using the correct email address, you may need to check with your License Administrator or IT department to make sure you have the correct Activation Key.
