MATLAB: Do all the Dials and Gauges blocks in a subsystem all look the same in R12.1 and R13 after installation

All of the blocks in each subsystem of the Dials and Gauges Global Majic ActiveX Library look the same. For instance, the Round Red block in the LEDs subsystem and the Green Rect block all look like red squares. Why has this happened?

This problem occurs if you install MATLAB with the "Set file permissions to read only" option checked. During installation, Dials and Gauges needs to have write permission on some files in order to update the library with properties for each block in the subsystem.

As a workaround, you can reinstall only Dials and Gauges without the "Set file permissions to read only" option and then allow MATLAB to be launched. Your Dials and Gauges blocks will then have the correct appearance.
