MATLAB: Dendrogram plot using parent-children data (without using linkage function)

How can I plot a dendogram plot, if I know the parent and children for each node. I do not want to use linkage function. for instance:
parent==0 children==[1,2]
parent==1 children==[3,4]
parent==2 children==[]
