The most likely reason a computer activation is missing on a license is that it was deactivated by either an Administrator or a Licensed End User. 
If a computer was not deactivated, but the activation is still missing, it is possible the activation status was automatically deactivated due to a license expiration. When Annual licenses expire, the current activations will automatically deactivate.
