MATLAB: Am I not able to use Standalone boot mode with the Speedgoat target using Simulink Real-Time R2018a

Question

When I use the Speedgoat Kernel transfer tool to configure my target for standalone mode, I encounter the following error message on the target screen:

Looking for application (null)…

Unpacking application…

Could not open (null).mldatx

Error: Error unpacking application

Why am I not able to use Standalone boot mode with my Speedgoat target using Simulink Real-Time R2018a?

Note that an upgrade to Speedgoat Library version 8.24.0.1 (or later) is required after installation of MATLAB R2018a Update 4.
