MATLAB: Add-On Explorer currently unavailable

Question

When will Add-On Explorer will be unavailable again? The problem remains for more than 2 months. Is there an alternative solution? Our work falls behind because of that.

Same problem, I have to install toolboxes and apps manually http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_env/get-add-ons.html
