Installed Texstudio on my new MacBook and faced a problem: in the editor the size of the tab is two spaces. Do you know how to change this value to four spaces? Haven't found this in editor settings.

What is your definition of “correct directory”? May dictionary are placed in /Applications/texstudio.app/Contents/Resources.
You can access this directory by ctrl-clicking o TeXstudio and then “show package contents”
To set this folder in TeXstudio open it in Finder and drag it to the window where you can select the dictionary directory
