[Tex/LaTex] Winedt 10 does not wrap the text

I'm using Winedt 10 to write my thesis and I have somehow managed to press some button or quick command that has stopped the text from wrapping inside the editor. This means that when writing, the line will just continue, seemingly for ever, until I hit the return key. The consequence is that I can't read the entire previous line without scrolling to the right in the editor. Needless to say, I don't want to compile the document into a pdf to be able to read what I have written. Secondly, hitting the return key ever 15 seconds is irritating. , which basically has the same problem, I have tried to go to "Options/Preferences/Wrapping and select the "Use fixed right margin", and then set this at various lower values. However, this changes the margin in the pdf, but does not have any effect on the wrapping of the text in the editor. As you can see from the image, the line just continues, whereas I would like it broken approximately at the right edge of this image.

Any ideas?

Check the status of the Wrap field in the status bar at the bottom:

winedt can highlight error only when you can complete the compilation. In your case the compilation is not over (have a look at the boxes again - it says 'Wait for Execution to finish'`). This is due to the errorstop mode used by winedt. pdflatex isn't able to go ahead with that missing brace. Hence you won't get it here. To test use this code. It has an error.

[Tex/LaTex] Winedt – Spelling correction

If you want to disable spell checking for your greek files, simply click on "Spell" in the status bar of WinEdt to disable this feature.

But I think it is better to install a Greek dictionary and have the spell checking feature on.

To do that, download the Greek dictionary and unzip it wherever you want.

Then download the InstallDict macro in the same folder where you have unzipped gr.zip, open it in WinEdt and launch it (Shift+Ctrl+F9).

Answer the questions the macro asks for:

Write Greek on "Insert language name"
Write gr.dic on "Insert dictionary name"

and you're done.

Now your greek documents have correct spell checking.

Add every word you like to the WinEdt custom dictionary by right-clicking on mispelled words and selecting "Add".
