[Tex/LaTex] Texstudio – Preview no longer jumps to text where cursor is at

Yesterday I accidentally hit the escape button instead of the backward quote (`) button, causing my preview to close. I reopened it by pressing f7 but whenever I build & view now using the F1 button, the preview no longer jumps to the text my cursor is at.

Does anyone know how to fix this? As I never adapt settings, everything is still the same as far as I know. In any case my PdfLaTeX is set to pdflatex.exe -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex and I use the Internet PDF Viewer (Embedded).

I found my answer. Below the preview you have to lock icons. The first on says cursor follows scrolling and the second one says scrolling follows cursor. Make sure that the second one is enabled and the preview will jump again!

TeXstudio provides preview images for math content inside of

$ … $ (while hovering over the first $) and
all^† amsmath environments while hovering over the \begin or the \end part. It won’t work when the mouse only hovers over the name of the environment or the formula itself.

It won’t work with the display-math \[ … \] syntax, but as this is only a short cut to the equation* environment when amsmath is loaded, you could replace the syntax\[ … \] with \begin{equation*} … \end{equation*} if you need the preview here as well.

Found a solution:

editor.write("\\underbrace{"+txt+"}_{}")
cursor.movePosition(1,cursorEnums.Left)

How it works is the following: I save what I selected with my cursor in txt. Then I go ahead and write "\underbrace{txt}_{}", where txt will be substituted with what I selected before. The cursor will be afterwards at the end, therefore going one step to the left will land my cursor inside the two curly brackets.
