[Tex/LaTex] Shortcut for changing text color

I want to create a shortcut in LyX for changing the color of selected text.

I tried to create a shortcut for "set-color green" or "set-color green green", but none of these worked.

What is the magic word?

Highlight the text and for green use

textstyle-update color 4

It seems you load the hyperref package and use its colorlinks option. Try the following:

\usepackage[colorlinks,citecolor=black]{hyperref}

In case you are using a custom class/template that loads hyperref by default, add the following to your preamble:

\hypersetup{citecolor=black}

I think also that is more useful redefine the paragraph in the preamble or even in the body. Moreover it works with or without Lyx. I left anyway a MWE that I have made before of before seeing your comment.
