[Tex/LaTex] Short List of Figures in Memoir

I really like the appearance of the short list of contents, introduced in the memoir manual. What I want is a short list of figures command changing the LoF style similarly. Centered captions followed by page numbers, without these dots in between.
I was trying to adopt the code of the short toc command, but it didn't work out.
Here is the shorttoc command.

Now I'd like to get rid of the figure numbers. I don't want them to be displayed in the LoF. How can I do this?
