[Tex/LaTex] How to make table span over two columns in one column template

I use the following template.
The template format uses two-column style:

I would like to add 2 table that will use the both columns of the page, like this:

I would like to add it to the last pages of the paper.
What do I have to change in the table definitions?

If the template uses the multicol package, you can simply break the multicol environment before the table and start it again after the table.

Here's an example of how the appearance could be further customized (thanks to g.kov for doing the typing!). Edit: the updated version needs v0.10 (2014/07/20) for the \task! syntax.

The items that should span a complete line (items 31. and 32. in the picture below) can be achieved by one of the following methods:

\task! – this will force the specific item to start in a new line using the whole line.
\task* – this will force the specific item to use the remaining space of the line. In this case this means it uses the whole line if it happens to be an item in the first column.
\task*(<num>) – this means the item will span <num> columns provided there are enough columns left in the current line. Otherwise it will use as much columns as it can.

[Tex/LaTex] Span Columns over multiple pages

This uses basically the paracol package which provides for parallel setting and easy switching of columns. Longer column content is maintained in the corresponding column(s) of the next page(s) (See the red and blue text to demonstrate this)
