I recently upgraded operating system on macbook to macos Sierra and also installed Mactex2016 but Texmaker is not working. Please help me to configure Texmaker with mactex. I tried this Configure Texmaker with macTex but this did not work.

I suspect that you're not using biblatex in quite the right way. In your preamble, place biblatex in as a package with some options. You can find out more about these options from the manual. For example:
\usepackage[style=nature,backend=biber]{biblatex}
Loads biblatex and tells it to use biber as the backed. You'll now need to tell it where to find the BibTeX database.
\addbibresource{YourBibliography.bib}
finally, wherever you want the bibliography placed, use this command:
\printbibliography
Remember, you'll need to do the standard latex (whichever variant you use) one of biber (not BibTeX unless you told biblatex to use BibTeX) or bibtex, and finally two more runs of latex. If you use TeXShop (or actually any editor), you may find this script I wrote handy.
For some strange reasons, TeXMaker finds the path to pdflatex, but not the one to makeindex.
The best solution is to specify the full path to makeindex in the corresponding slot of the 'Configure TeXMaker' -> 'Commands' dialog, by writing
"/usr/texbin/makeindex" -s nomencl.ist -t %.nlg -o %.nls %.nlo
-t %.nlg has been added to generate a .nlg log file so that it can be distinguished from the normal .ilg log file that makeindex generates when creating indexes.
Pressing F12 now you will be able to compile your nomenclatures.
If you now want to be able to perform the full compilation cycle and view your finished .pdf file by just pressing F1, you can configure your 'Quick Build' command, choosing the wizard in the 'Configure TeXMaker' -> 'Quick Build' dialog, and adding, in the following sequence:
PdfLaTeX
Makeindex
PdfLaTeX
Pdf Viewer
In this way one can achieve the same result obtainable with the arara tool (which is anyway a very nice tool) but without its need.
Now, if you press F1 when your MWE is active, you obtain the following result:

There are some differences between MacTex2016 and previous versions. For instance, you must configure the path for the executable programs using the
/Library/TeX/texbinfolder instead of the previous links in/usr/texbin.Please review the MacTex webpage for this changes: http://www.tug.org/mactex/sierra.html
