I have the following tex command to type \pi
with some limited number of digits that take its symbol shape. My question is how to make the digits to be created from different colors and if there is any other nice shapes with colors to be used as a front page of a booklet.
\usepackage{shapepar}
\usepackage{microtype}

Here's a low tech way to do this. This uses predetermined colours or a randomly assigned color for each digit. The random colour code is taken from Generate random color in way that works with both pdflatex and lualatex.
